Salt Lake County property prices saw a slight rise in June 2012. The average price for a home stood at $235,090, up from $233,444 last month and $229,306 a year ago. The number of homes sold increased from 1,090 to 1,206 over the last 12 months. Homes also sold faster, taking on average 91 days to sell a home, down from 121 in June 2011. All in all this was another strong month for home sales, and while we are not totally out of the woods yet, it continues to provide a positive indication that the real estate market is picking up.

Average Days on Market: 91 down 24.79%
